Aisha was the great love and the youngest wife of the prophet Mohammed. The song cycle Fasıl tells of her life – of love, intrigue, sorrow, happiness, and her development, from an innocent beauty to a confidant of Mohammed and, finally, to a political leader and "mother of the faithful".
